Guest speaker by RUBY

Yesterday (Wednesday the 25th of July) a  food scientist Rena Reeves came to our school. She worked for AZCO in Green Island, and made patties and meatballs for restraunts and other major companies. She created new patties in a trial kitchen off her office. She makes trial patties in small amounts, and if they turn out well the are made in the factory. Making the patties is a very hard thing to do, because temperature, machinery, quantity and shape can all affect the patties quite dramatically.

Rena made me think about food alot more and more about nutrition.
